After the talks, Dr. Joshi toured the hospital’s state-of-the-art facilities and its IT-driven obstetric care system, which left a strong impression. “I’m eager to see this advanced system implemented in Nepal to support safer childbirth,” he remarked.

Currently, the Kangwon Regional Maternal and Child Healthcare Center and Gangwon Province are jointly running the “Nepal Healthcare Professional Capacity Building Program” to improve maternal health services in Nepal.

The Nepal Health Research Council plays a pivotal role in managing the nation’s health research resources.
